QMB (Indonesia) Laterite Nickel Ore Hydrometallurgy and New Energy Materials Engineering Technology Research Center

With the support of the GEM China National Engineering Research Center, QMB invested 50 million US dollars to build a three-level engineering technology innovation system which consists of small laboratories, enlarged laboratories and pilot scale lab, equip more than 100 sets of world-class research facilities from Japan, the USA and Germany and occupy digital and intelligent engineering test and research lines. This innovation system will be able to complete the key technology research and doctoral training of various metallurgical technologies and new energy materials, implement the localization of Indonesian metallurgical engineering technology and new energy material technology, and serve Indonesia's national strategy of new energy industry and electrification.
