On March 31, 2025 (1st Shawwal 1446 AH), QMB Industrial Park hosted a grand celebration for Eid al-Fitr (Hari Raya Idul Fitri), sharing the joy of this significant Islamic festival with its Muslim employees. Marking the end of the month-long Ramadan fast, Eid al-Fitr embodies the spirit of unity, gratitude, and peace.


On the eve of Eid, QMB organized a Takbiran parade, where Muslim employees carried festive lanterns and solemnly yet joyfully marched through the QMB residential area, offering prayers for peace and prosperity. The vibrant and harmonious celebration created a festive atmosphere while showcasing the rich traditions of Islamic culture.

On Eid al-Fitr, QMB held a solemn Eid prayer ceremony at the industrial park’s grand prayer hall, celebrating this significant Islamic occasion together.


During the ceremony, Ustadz Dzohri Abdullah, representative of the IMIP Industrial Park Religious Committee, delivered a heartfelt speech, extending his sincere Eid greetings to all Muslim colleagues at QMB. He emphasized that QMB, as the first company in IMIP Industrial Park to independently host an Eid celebration, demonstrates strong support for employees' religious beliefs.

Mr. Li Honghui, Assistant to the General Manager of GEM and Deputy General Manager of QMB, expressed gratitude to Ustadz Dzohri Abdullah and the IMIP Religious Committee for their recognition. He extended Eid blessings to all Muslim colleagues and reaffirmed that the QMB management team will lead by example, fostering unity among employees of different ethnicities and faiths, and firmly promoting cultural integration for the development of QMB.

Mr. Ardi, Assistant to the General Manager of QMB, conveyed his festive wishes to all colleagues while expressing appreciation for the Ramadan activities organized by the company. These included month-long collective iftar gatherings at Al-Quddus Mosque, an iftar competition in Sambalagi, and the grand Eid prayer ceremony. Following the prayers, employees participated in the traditional “Halal Bihalal” reconciliation gathering, an event rich in Islamic cultural significance. This gathering not only honored cultural traditions but also deepened the bonds among QMB employees, reflecting the company’s commitment to religious inclusivity and employee well-being.

During Ramadan, QMB’s Overseas Team and Muslim colleagues worked hand in hand, achieving a remarkable breakthrough in nickel and cobalt resource output, surpassing expectations and demonstrating the industrial park’s exceptional operational efficiency. As Eid approached, to accommodate Indonesian employees’ holiday needs while ensuring long-term equipment stability and optimizing production processes, QMB implemented phased production adjustments and scheduled maintenance. These strategic measures effectively addressed operational bottlenecks, laying a solid foundation for stable production, capacity expansion, and enhanced operational safety, paving the way for continued growth.
