On the afternoon of April 28th, 2020, HenanProvincial Governor Yin Hong led a delegation of the provincial ’s county-levelhigh-quality economic development to visit the GEM Henan Mutong Industrial Parkto investigate the construction and development progress of waste electricaland electronic dismantling projects and End of Life Vehicle (ELV) projects.Professor Xu Kaihua, chairman of the GEM, and Jiang Zhenkang, general managerof GEM, warmly received Governor Yin Hong and delegations.

During the visit, Chairman Xu Kaihuafirstly expressed his gratitude to the Henan Provincial Party Committee andProvincial Government and Lankao County Party Committee and County Governmentfor their support to the development of GEM, and introduced the greendevelopment process of GEM to Governor Yin Hong and the delegations. Theprogress of e-waste dismantling and ELV projects in the park. GEM\'s “urban mine” industrial layout ofelectronic waste and ELV in Lankao not only meets the environmental protectionneeds of waste electrical appliances and ELV in Henan Province, but alsocomplements the shortcomings of the local scarce mineral resources in Lankao. Atpresent, the park is actively carrying out the construction of the"six-lisation" factory, determined to build the GEM Henan Mutong Parkinto the largest comprehensive waste environmental treatment park in theCentral Plains region, providing strong support and help for Lankao to build agreen and environmental-friendly circular economy industrial demonstration baseand Lankao achieves a comprehensive well-off.

Governor Yin Hong highly affirmed andsincerely appreciated the global layout of GEM ’s recycling industry and themodern management construction of the Mutong Park in Henan, and said that HenanProvince will break through regional constraints and promote resourceagglomeration through institutional reforms, and strongly support GEM as aleading enterprise and promote the development of industrial clusters, build acomplete circular economy industrial chain in the Lankao area, and open up newmodels and opportunities for the county economy.
