On December 9, Wu Yingbiao, Secretary ofthe Working Committee of Jingmen High-tech Zone and Secretary of the PartyCommittee of Dadao District, led a delegation of Jingmen City visited GEM’sLaterite nickel ore to produce power battery grade nickel chemical project(project company PT. QMB New Energy Martials, hereafter as QMB) in IndonesiaMorowali Industrial Park (hereafter as IMIP) Morowali Central Sulawesi Indonesia. Professor Xu Kaihua, chairman ofGEM, and Wu Huadi, chairman of IMIP warmly received Secretary Wu Yingbiao andthe delegation.

Secretary Wu Yingbiao and the delegationsvisited the public and auxiliary facilities of the IMIP, including the port andpower plant, accompanied by GEM Chairman Professor Xu Kaihua IMIP Chairman WuHuadi, and General Manager of QMB Tang Honghui. The delegation also visited QMBsite and testing center.

At the exchange meeting, QMB GeneralManager Tang Honghui introduced the basic situation of the park and theconstruction progress of the project. Secretary Wu Yingbiao highly affirmedGEM\'s development model based on Jingmen, going to the world and achieving afirst-class international enterprise, and also expressed that Jingmen High-techZone will further increase its efforts to support GEM\'s development in thefuture and promote GEM to become a successful benchmark enterprise of thedevelopment of Jingmen in the "Belt and Road".
