On the morning of February 17th, 2020, Mr. YanGanhui, the secretary of the Yichun Municipal Party Committee, came to GEMJiangxi Industrial Park to inspect the situation of the company\'s epidemicprevention and control and work resumption. In accordance with GEM\'s requirements of strictand absolute prevention and control, Yan Ganhui, the secretary of the YichunMunicipal Party Committee and his delegation arrived at the gate of GEM. Everyoneat the delegation got out of the transportation and queue up in a line to bechecked on body temperature, disinfection, and registration at the factory oneby one. General Manager Dr. Qin Yufei introducedthe “GEM’s Sixteen Prevention and Control Measures” and “Nine Major Measures” indetail to Mr. Yan Ganhui. All returning employees need to made cleared lifetrack for the last half month before resume work and measured staff’s bodytemperature four times a day. GEM strictly implemented comprehensivedisinfection and other epidemic prevention work in strict accordance with thedisinfection instructions for the entire plant area, and strictly controlledentrance.

GEM Jiangxi Industrial Park also resumedwork step by step in accordance with the requirements of Yichun Municipal PartyCommittee and Municipal Government. Firstly, the electronic waste dismantlingline and plastic granulation production line were opened, and all returningworkers entered normal working conditions.

Secretary Yan Ganhui and his delegationreviewed the implementation records of various epidemic prevention and controlwork such as the disinfection registration account and staff temperature checkregistration form in each area of plant including company\'s anti-epidemicmeasures in the canteens, accommodation and other areas, as well as resumedoperations on logistics and personnel management. Secretary Yan Ganhui and his delegationaffirmed GEM\'s strict and standardized epidemic prevention and control measuresand hoped that the person in charge of the enterprise would protect himself andthe enterprise at the same time.

Secretary Yan emphasized that enterprises shouldnot only do a good job in epidemic prevention and control in a special period butalso actively prevent it. They should also gradually implement a full-scaleresumption of production to achieve stable operations.

The Yichun Municipal Party Committee andMunicipal Government should actively help enterprises to solve theirdifficulties in work resumption and achieve economic development and epidemicprevention and control.

GEM Jiangxi Industrial Park is the firstindustrial enterprise in Fengcheng City to receive government approval for workresumption. At present, the park is under inner loop management and strictaccess permits are implemented.
