On the morning of Nov. 26, 2019, TatsuoYasunaga, the President of Mitsui & Co., Motoo Ono, the East Asia ChiefRepresentative, Yuki Kodera, the General Manager of Metal Resources, MasaoGoto, the Director of Steel Materials Department of Metal Resources, Tadao Ito,the Secretary of the President, and Kei Nakayama, the Director of SteelMaterials Department of Metal Resources of Mitsui & Co. (China), visitedthe GEM Jingmen Circular Economy Industrial Park. Prof. Xu Kaihua, the Chairmanof GEM, warmly welcomed Mr. Yasunaga and his delegation.

Mr. Yasunaga and his delegation visited therecycling industry full process production line from waste to remanufacture: theUrban Mines Museum, the National Electronic Waste Recycling EngineeringTechnology Research Center, the WEEE Green Treatment Workshop, theHigh-pressure Leaching System, the Used Power Battery Resource UtilizationEngineering Center, the Ternary Raw Material Manufacturing Center, and theNickel Sulfate Crystal Manufacturing Center and the Waste Water, Gas, andResidue Control Center.

During the visit, Prof. Xu introduced theglobal layout of the GEM recycle industry, the overall situation of industrialdevelopment, and the operation of Wuhan Sanyong GEM. Mr. Yasunaga highlypraised GEM\'s recycling culture, waste disposal capabilities, and talenttraining.

After the visit, Prof. Xu and Mr. Yasunagahad a tea talk in the Beautiful China Hall of Jingmen Park. Prof. Xu showed the"China and Japan Join Hands to Build a Green Dream" VCR to theguests, and reviewed the wonderful moments of friendly cooperation between GEMand Mitsui & Co. in recent years.

At the symposium, Prof. Xu once againexpressed thanks to Mr. Yasunaga for the visit. Prof. Xu said that GEM havebeen working with Mitsui & Co. for a long time. This visit pushed thecooperation to a new era. The green dream is the common concept of bothcompanies. In the future, GEM would continue to learn from Mitsui & Co. topromote the achievement of new strategic cooperation and to strengthen thedetermination to jointly promote the development of the world\'s green industry.

President Tatsuo Yasunaga expressed gratitudeto Chairman Xu Kaihua for his reception in busy schedule and he also said thathe was deeply impressed by this investigation which GEM showed industrialconcept of“Limited Resources and Unlimited Circulation”and theexcellent management and intelligent equipment level as a leader in circulareconomy.

At the symposium, GEM and Mitsui & Co.,Ltd. reached a new emerging strategic partnership on the theme of "Chinaand Japan jointly build a green dream." They all agreed to use WuhanSanyong GEM as a platform to carry out depth cooperation and jointly build aChina-Japan circular type Social development. Push forward and create a greenfuture for China and Japan.
