The enthusiasm and warmth of friendsgathered together beat the drizzle and cold wind. On Nov. 28, 2019, within amonth, friends from Pohang, South Korea visited GEM once again. A delegationled by Mr. Song Kyeong Chang, Deputy Mayor of Pohang, South Korea, visited GEMWuhan and Jingmen Circular Economy Industrial Parks. Prof. Xu Kaihua, Chairmanof GEM Group, warmly welcomed Mr. Song and his delegation.

Accompanied by the GEM\'s Deputy GeneralManager Lu Xijin, Mr. Song and his delegation visited the Green DismantlingBase of Scrapped Vehicles, the Plastic Product Recycling Workshop, the PowerBattery Pack Disassembly Base, the Power Battery Pack Remanufacturing Base, theUsed Power Battery Pack Cascade Utilization Research Center, the Energy StoragePower Station, and the Waste Art Plaza in Wuhan Park. Then they went to JingmenPark to visit the recycling industry full process production line from waste toremanufacturing: the Urban Mines Museum, the National WEEE RecyclingEngineering Technology Research Center, the WEEE Green Processing Workshop, theUsed Power Battery Resource Utilization Engineering Research Center, theTernary Power Battery Raw Material Supply System, and the EnvironmentalInformation Control Center. In the meantime, the delegation visited the jointventure plant of GEM and ECOPRO.

During the visit, Dr. Zhang Yuping, theDeputy General Manager of GEM, introduced the development situation of the GEMUrban mines and new energy industries to Mr. Song. Mr. Song expressed hisappreciation on GEM\'s recycling culture, waste disposal capacity, and thelayout and high-quality development of the new energy industry, and also highlyagreed with the GEM’s recycling industry, especially the whole life cycle valuechain system ( power battery recycling - material recycling - power batterypack recycling) of this industry. Mr. Song expressed his gratitude to GEM forits hospitality and expressed his willingness to carry out more levels ofcommunication and cooperation. Mr. Song was willing to create good conditionsfor the joint development of GEM and ECOPRO and believed that the deep exchangeand cooperation will definitely promote the green development of the world\'snew energy industry in the future.

After the visit, Hu Xiaoguo, the leader ofJingmen Government, and other government leaders of High-tech and DuodaoDistrict met with Mr. Song and his delegation, and held a China-Korea Economicand Trade Cooperation and Friendship City Exchange Conference.
