On the afternoon of November 14, 2019, ShiLijun, the secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, was accompaniedby the chief comrades of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee andSecretary-General Zhang Yusong, the Taixing Municipal Party Committee SecretaryLiu Zhiming, the acting mayor of the Taixing Municipal Government, Zhang Kun,the Taixing Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, the People\'sCongress, and the CPPCC , visited GEM Taixing Park for investigation. ProfessorXu Kaihua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the GEM Group, andMs. Wang Min, Compsny Director, warmly received Mr. Shi and his delegation.

Secretary Shi Lijun and his delegationvisited the world\'s first cobalt-themed industrial museum built by GEM. Duringthe visit, Chairman Xu Kaihua introduced the importance of strategic metalcobalt to the progress of human civilization and the scarcity of China’s limitedcobalt resources. The GEM resource recycling model is the only way to cope withthe severe situation of the depletion of world’s cobalt resource after 30years. In the museum, Chairman Xu Kaihua introduced GEM Group\'s recyclingindustrial concept in detail, expressed the ambition of Taixing Park to build aworld-class cobalt product manufacturing center, and focused on the greentransformation process of GEM Taixing Park. Especially since the "JiangsuChemical Industry Safe and Environmental Improvement Program" (Suban[2019] No. 96) was released, the company\'s development strategy hasstrategically changed, with the determination of cutting own wrist to firmlyimplement the transformation and upgradation. The GEM Group exerted all ourstrengths and all the members of Taixing company participated in this jointeffort,to implement the Safe and Environmental renovation, and created aworld-class green factory. In the next 3-5 years, through execution of strategicemerging industry projects such as multiple precursors for power lithiumbatteries and high-performance lithium cobalt oxides materials for intelligent productpower supplies, the business scale of GEM Taixing will be doubled. It isdetermined to build a billion-scale cobalt product manufacturing base and themost competitive core company in the global cobalt industry market.

During the visit, Secretary Shi Lijun andhis delegation learned in detail about the concept of the “Six Standards”factory that is safe, green, intelligent, technological, quality, andeducational. Inquired carefully about the application fields of cobalt, wasterecycling rate and GEM\'s resource recycling model, and impressed by thedramatic changes in GEM Taixing Park. The Cobalt Industry Museum is a masterpiecededicated by GEM to the people of Taizhou.

Secretary Shi Lijun praised theentrepreneurship and social responsibility of Xu Kaihua Chairman, affirmed thepragmatic attitude of GEM\'s "360-degree" seamless opening to thesociety and factories, and said that the rapid transformation success of GEM TaixingPark has raised the confidence of Taizhou\'s manufacturing industry intransformation and upgradation, and strengthened Taizhou\'s determination totake the road of high-quality development. The Taizhou Municipal PartyCommittee supports GEM to grow bigger and stronger, and appreciates GEM\'sconcept of green development, which fully demonstrates the high profile ofworld-class leading enterprises, and wishes GEM to become a leading globalrecycling enterprise at an early date. In the end, Secretary Shi Lijun happilyleft a message on the electronic message board: Make GEM more beautiful.
