In the morning of 24th April 2017, organized by the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, a 65-member economic and trade exchanges and cooperation delegation from Sierra Leone, Palestine, Georgia, Lebanon, Mongolia, Panama, Iraq, Sri Lanka, South Africa, South Sudan, Zambia, Tunisia, Jamaica, Uruguay, etc. came to China to visit GEM (Wuhan) Recycling Industry Park. The senior managers of GEM (Wuhan) Recycling Industry Park warmly hosted the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation delegation and accompanied the visit to the "Urban Mining" Museum, Intelligent Information Monitoring Platform, End-of-Life Sustainable Dismantling, Waste Plastic Products Recycling Workshop, E-Waste Sustainable Management Workshop and Power Battery Pack Gradient Utilization and Recycling Base.

During the visit, the delegation was impressed by GEM’s construction speed, industry scale and social influence. In view of the fact that a large number of end-of-life vehicles and electronic waste are difficult to be managed in developing countries, the delegation had a great interest and recognition in the development concept, industrial layout and advanced process equipment followed the concept of GEM’s circular economy. At the end of the visit, the delegation hoped to work with GEM in the future to promote the development of circular economy and environmental protection industry in developing countries.

Representative of the GEM (Wuhan) Recycling Industry Park commented that we would take advantage of the ‘One Belt, One Road’ Initiative to strengthen exchanges, in-depth cooperation and input GEM’s advanced recycling technologies to the ‘One Belt, One Road’ countries. In China\'s sustainable development tide, we would use green technology to implement the ‘One Belt, One Road’ strategy and enhance the capabilities of ‘One Belt, One Road’ developing countries on waste management, presenting the responsibility of a Chinese environmental protection enterprise to the global.
