On the afternoon of 13th October 2015, the signing ceremony of “ELV Recycling Business” between Minister Takani from Mitsui a nd GEM was held grandly at GEM (Wuhan) Recycling Industrial Park.

During the signing ceremony, President Xu Kaihua reported GEM’s future industrial layout a nd goals of auto parts remanufacturing a nd ELVs recycling, also introduced the auto parts remanufacturing project progress in GEM (Wuhan). Both parties agreed that the market scale of ELV recycling business is continually expanding and will have a bright industrial prospect. Both parties decided to take “resources conservation and ecological environment protection” as the target, to adjust the industrial structure, growth pattern and consumption model and expand all-round cooperation about ELVs business and its downstream industry chain in China based on existing cooperative relationship, to promote the in-depth development of ELVs recycling in China at the same time and establish a ELV comprehensive utilization industrial chain with core competitiveness and advantages. This is conducive to both companies for growing together, a nd also in accordance with the trend of ecological civilization construction and industrial policy of Circular Economy which are promoted by Chinese government. At last, Minister Takani from Mitsui expressed he was very glad to cooperate with GEM and devote to environmental protection career.
