On March 23th 2012, the first Cobalt and Nickel Product Technology and Application Seminar were successfully held in Jingmen GEM Urban Mine Resources Industrial Park in Hubei.
    The meeting was sponsored by GEM, and co-sponsored by China hardalloys.com, more than one hundred industrial leaders, famous experts and professors attended. The purpose of the seminar is to dialysis cobalt and nickel market development prospects, to discuss and communicate on superfine cobalt and nickel powder of technological progress and application technology, deoxidization nickel powder substitute carbonyl nickel powder industrial application and the sustained improvement in quality. For ascending cobalt and nickel product technical progress, promoting the application of new technology, new products provide the opportunity and rapid development.
    Accompanied by GEM’s board chairman Dr. Kaihua Xu, all the visitors firstly toured around Jingmen GEM Urban Mine Resources Industrial Park, and gave highly affirmation and praised to GEM’s advanced recycling technology and industry scale. After that, the seminar held in the administration building’s meeting center. Dr. Kaihua Xu gave the opening speech;
    Dr. Xuanhui Qu from Beijing Science and Technology University, gave the speech on Nickel powder injection molding application; The Technical director of Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Cutting Tools Co., Ltd. gave the speech on globular cobalt power localization; The R&D department manager of Jingmen GEM gave the special report on nickel product; The vice president of KBM Korean gave the speech on GEM’s Cobalt and nickel powder in South Korea market and its business activities.
    The meeting was successfully concluded with the business talks of marketing prospects.
