On 13th and 14th, July, 2010, to implement 12th 5-year-plan of hazardous waste prevention and control, Sate Environment Protection Department visits GEM, with the companion of leaders from provincial and municipal environmental protection department of Hubei, Xinjiang, Gansu, Wuhan, Qingdao, etc. They examined the recycling system of used batteries and e-wastes in Wuhan as well as Jingmen recycling industrial park.

On 13th, accompanied by general manager Wang Jian and deputy manager Jiao Hua, the above leaders visited the used-battery-recycling shops, the e-waste recycling center in Baoli Park, and Hanyang used-battery storehouse, which are established by the mutual effort of GEM and Wuhan government. They highly appraised GEM’s recycling mode of used batteries and e-wastes.
On 14th, they visited the used-battery-and-e-waste recycling industrial park of Jingmen GEM, guided by Zhou Jifeng, deputy director of Jingmen GEM.

Zheng Yang, a specialist of State Environment Protection Department appraised GEM’s contribution to the recycling and disposing of dangerous wastes, hoping that GEM will set a good example for the industry.
