The 12th China Patent Award announced GEM won 2 awards

On 15th, Oct., 2010, the 12th China Patent Award Review was published. Both the ‘200610061204.1—Sorting & Dismantling Technology and System of Wasted Batteries’, filed by Shenzhen GEM Hi-tech Co., Ltd, and the ‘200510127614.7—The Fabrication Method and Equipments of Ultra-fine Cobalt Powder from Recycled Resources’, filed by Jingmen GEM New Materials Co., Ltd, won the Award of Excellence.

GEM, being the leading enterprise in the recycling of used batteries and e-wastes, has been committed to the development of circular economy. Over the years, GEM has paid great attention on intellectual property rights. Presently, GEM has obtained 99 core patents (of which quite a few are international patents) and over 50 national and industrial standards.

GEM initiated the recycling of used batteries and e-wastes to regenerate cobalt & nickel powders and low-carbon WPC. The winning of the above awards symbolized the great advancement of innovation capability in the recycling of used batteries and e-wastes.
