On June 5th, 2017, over 30 officials of environmental protection and management of the countries along “One Belt, One Road”visited GEM(Yangzhou Jiejia)Solid Waste Treatment Co., Ltd.(wholly-owned branch company by Yangzhou Ningda Precious Metals Co., Ltd., a holding company by GEM. hereafter it will be abbreviated as Jiejia Company ), accompanied by Liu Liwen, director of  Yangzhou Environmental Protection Agency. Fan Hongjie, General Manager of Yangzhou Ningda Precious Metals Co., Ltd., gave them a warm hospitality and guided them to visit waste solid leachate workshop, Solidification/ stabilization workshop and landfill reservoir.

While visiting , Mr Fan introduced the process of hazardous waste and some regulations relating to the environment. He also described the real-time information supervisory management model and some environmental protection activities.

After visit, the technical staff in Jiejia company gave a detailed presentation on solid waste treatment to the environmental officials. They also discussed a lot about the technique to dispose hazardous waste and relevant problems.

Finally, all of the related person, including Jiejia company’s staff and the environmental officials, took a photo.
