In the morning of June 9th, 2017, accompanied by the President Shao Wei and Deputy Director Wu Xun of Yangszhou Chemical Industrial Park, Ren Benshu (Director of Environmental Protection & Resource Conservation Division of the National Development & Reform) visited GEM(Yangzhou Jiejia) Solid Waste Treatment Co., Ltd.  (the wholly owned company of GEM’s holding company called Yangzhou Ninda Precious Metal Limited Company, hereinafter referred to Jiejia Company). Mr. Fan Hongjie (GEM group’s supervisor and the head of Jiejia company) warmly welcome the delegation.

Fan Hongjie introduced the present state and future development plan of Jiejia company. Based on the concepts of “Science, Recycling, Economy and Outstanding”, Jiejia company aims to protect environment and achieve ecological development with specialised and standardised waste management technologies. On the purpose of developing an advanced solid waste landfill enterprise, Jiejia company has focused on developing world’s leading technologies in solid waste management and making great contributions on local circular economy and sustainable development.

Acompanied by Fan Hongjie, the delegation visited the percolate workshop, stable solidification workshop, physicochemical pre-treatment workshop, landfill area and the "GEM - Jiejia cultural exhibition hall" which was still under construction.

The delegation spoke highly of the advanced solid waste management technologies and field management, encouraged Jiejia company to made persistent efforts on environmental protection projects.
