On the afternoon of June 21th, 2018, Gao Yunhu, director of the Department of Energy Conservation and Resources Utilization of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Wang Wenyuan, director of the resources comprehensive utilization section, visited GEM (Wuxi) Energy and Materials Industrial Park, accompanied by Yao Haikun, director of the Energy Conservation Department of the Jiangsu provincial economic and Information Committee, Zhou Wendong, director of the Wuxi economic and Information Committee, Huang Lixia, deputy director of and Li Linjiang, director of Energy Conservation Section of the Wuxi economic and Information Committee. Pan Hua, Deputy General Manager of GEM Group, General Manager of GEM (Wuxi) Energy and Materials Industrial Park, Zhang Yuping, Deputy General Manager of GEM Group, warmly received them.

Accompanied by Pan Hua, Director Gao Yunhu and his delegation visited the New Energy Materials Exhibition Hall, Ternary Power Battery Material Intelligent Manufacturing Line, Decommissioned Power Battery Smart Energy Storage DC Charging Pile Demonstration Project Construction Site, GEM New Energy Materials Research Institute, and Waste Power Battery Intelligent Nondestructive Disassembly line.

In the following meeting, Pan Hua, gave a detailed report to Director Gao Yunhu on layout of the new energy full life cycle value chain of GEM\'s "battery recovery - raw material recycling - material remanufacture - power battery pack reassembling - new energy automotive operating", and GEM’s breakthrough of recycling system construction and recycling technology in the field of decommissioned power battery recovery. Director Gao Yunhu and his party listened carefully and inquired in detail about the specific problems encountered by the company in the decommissioned power batteries, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions.

Director Gao Yunhu expressed high recognition for GEM\'s industry model of ” Limited Resources Unlimited Recycling” and insisted on “Exploiting Urban Mining and developing New Energy Materials”. And pointed out the direction for GEM to set up the recycling of waste power batteries pilot.
