On July 23, the 2019 International Academic Conference on Marketing and Creation Forum of China was held in Guangzhou. The List of Top 500 Chinese Enterprises Patents was released for the first time. GEM Co., Ltd. successfully ranked 215 on the list as the top 500 companies patents in China.

The theme of the conference was “Globalization 2.0: China and the World Market”. It is currently the largest and most standardized global marketing conference in China. It was attended by thousands of marketing scholars and industry elites at home and abroad. The list of the top 500 Chinese patents issued for the first time in the event, adopting the method of “artificial intelligence + big data analysis” to evaluate the 9 indicators of Chinese enterprises such as patent quantity, homogeneity, patent degree and exclusive power. In the end, GEM was successfully selected with 81.25 points of patent strength.

Invention patent is a symbol of innovation level and core competitiveness. In the past 10 years, the company has continuously increased R&D investment, established global core intellectual property rights in core business areas, broke through the technical barriers of foreign patents, and established the core technology system for China\'s waste batteries, e-waste, scrapped vehicles, rare earth resources recycling and new energy power battery raw materials recycling, applying for more than 1,700 patents, including more than 50 PCT and foreign patent applications, and more than 20 core patents have been authorized in more than ten countries and regions including Europe, America, Japan and Korea. More than 170 national and industry standards have been revised, and key technical achievements in the manufacture field of ternary power battery raw materials, batteries recycling, e-waste recycling, harmless disposal of scrapped PCBs and scrapped vehicles recycling have been achieved.

GEM\'s independent core technology and independent intellectual property rights system in the field of waste recyclingand regenerationhave made GEM\'s leading position in the world\'s waste recycling industry.The company has approved to establish the National Electronic Waste Recycling Engineering Technology Research Center, the National Enterprise Technology Center, and the development of the world\'s leading research and development equipment and engineering laboratories for R&D equipment. It has obtained the dual qualification certifications of the national accredited laboratory CNAS and the national metrology testing CMA. 

In 2010 and 2019, the first completed unit won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress twice and the first prize of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress for many times. On behalf of Chinese enterprises, it won the runner-up of the World Economic Forum “Global Circular Economy Multinational Corporation Award”.
