On the morning of September 5th, 2019, Mr. Sheng Jiming, deputy director of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and his delegation, accompanied by leaders of Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Shenzhen, visited GEM’s Shenzhen headquarters. Professor Xu Kaihua, Chairman of GEM warmly welcomed Mr. Sheng Jiming and his delegation.

Before the discussion meeting, deputy director Sheng Jiming and his delegation visited GEM’s intelligent information monitoring platform and learned about GEM’s national industrial layout and advanced technology and equipment. In the discussion meeting, chairman Xu expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the long-term strong support on GEM’s devolvement and briefed deputy director Sheng and his delegation on the GEM green development history, achievements and development vision of becoming a world leading enterprise.

Deputy director Sheng fully affirmed GEM’s industrial position in the field of circular economy and its outstanding contribution to the green development of China, and had in-depth discussion with Chairman Xu on issues of value added tax reform, financing and credit policies and its impact on enterprise.

Dr. Zhang Yuping, the Deputy General Manager, Mr. Mu Menggang, the Chief Financial Officer, accompanied the visit and discussion.
