On the afternoon of November 14, 2019, Shi Lijun, the secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, was accompanied by the chief comrades of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General Zhang Yusong, the Taixing Municipal Party Committee Secretary Liu Zhiming, the acting mayor of the Taixing Municipal Government, Zhang Kun, the Taixing Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, the People\'s Congress, and the CPPCC , visited GEM Taixing Park for investigation. Professor Xu Kaihua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the GEM Group, and Ms. Wang Min, Compsny Director, warmly received Mr. Shi and his delegation.

Secretary Shi Lijun and his delegation visited the world\'s first cobalt-themed industrial museum built by GEM. During the visit, Chairman Xu Kaihua introduced the importance of strategic metal cobalt to the progress of human civilization and the scarcity of China’s limited cobalt resources. The GEM resource recycling model is the only way to cope with the severe situation of the depletion of world’s cobalt resource after 30 years. In the museum, Chairman Xu Kaihua introduced GEM Group\'s recycling industrial concept in detail, expressed the ambition of Taixing Park to build a world-class cobalt product manufacturing center, and focused on the green transformation process of GEM Taixing Park. Especially since the "Jiangsu Chemical Industry Safe and Environmental Improvement Program" (Suban [2019] No. 96) was released, the company\'s development strategy has strategically changed, with the determination of cutting own wrist to firmly implement the transformation and upgradation. The GEM Group exerted all our strengths and all the members of Taixing company participated in this joint effort,to implement the Safe and Environmental renovation, and created a world-class green factory. In the next 3-5 years, through execution of strategic emerging industry projects such as multiple precursors for power lithium batteries and high-performance lithium cobalt oxides materials for intelligent product power supplies, the business scale of GEM Taixing will be doubled. It is determined to build a billion-scale cobalt product manufacturing base and the most competitive core company in the global cobalt industry market.

During the visit, Secretary Shi Lijun and his delegation learned in detail about the concept of the “Six Standards” factory that is safe, green, intelligent, technological, quality, and educational. Inquired carefully about the application fields of cobalt, waste recycling rate and GEM\'s resource recycling model, and impressed by the dramatic changes in GEM Taixing Park. The Cobalt Industry Museum is a masterpiece dedicated by GEM to the people of Taizhou.

Secretary Shi Lijun praised the entrepreneurship and social responsibility of Xu Kaihua Chairman, affirmed the pragmatic attitude of GEM\'s "360-degree" seamless opening to the society and factories, and said that the rapid transformation success of GEM Taixing Park has raised the confidence of Taizhou\'s manufacturing industry in transformation and upgradation, and strengthened Taizhou\'s determination to take the road of high-quality development. The Taizhou Municipal Party Committee supports GEM to grow bigger and stronger, and appreciates GEM\'s concept of green development, which fully demonstrates the high profile of world-class leading enterprises, and wishes GEM to become a leading global recycling enterprise at an early date. In the end, Secretary Shi Lijun happily left a message on the electronic message board: Make GEM more beautiful.
