The enthusiasm and warmth of friends gathered together beat the drizzle and cold wind. On Nov. 28, 2019, within a month, friends from Pohang, South Korea visited GEM once again. A delegation led by Mr. Song Kyeong Chang, Deputy Mayor of Pohang, South Korea, visited GEM Wuhan and Jingmen Circular Economy Industrial Parks. Prof. Xu Kaihua, Chairman of GEM Group, warmly welcomed Mr. Song and his delegation.

Accompanied by the GEM\'s Deputy General Manager Lu Xijin, Mr. Song and his delegation visited the Green Dismantling Base of Scrapped Vehicles, the Plastic Product Recycling Workshop, the Power Battery Pack Disassembly Base, the Power Battery Pack Remanufacturing Base, the Used Power Battery Pack Cascade Utilization Research Center, the Energy Storage Power Station, and the Waste Art Plaza in Wuhan Park. Then they went to Jingmen Park to visit the recycling industry full process production line from waste to remanufacturing: the Urban Mines Museum, the National WEEE Recycling Engineering Technology Research Center, the WEEE Green Processing Workshop, the Used Power Battery Resource Utilization Engineering Research Center, the Ternary Power Battery Raw Material Supply System, and the Environmental Information Control Center. In the meantime, the delegation visited the joint venture plant of GEM and ECOPRO.

During the visit, Dr. Zhang Yuping, the Deputy General Manager of GEM, introduced the development situation of the GEM Urban mines and new energy industries to Mr. Song. Mr. Song expressed his appreciation on GEM\'s recycling culture, waste disposal capacity, and the layout and high-quality development of the new energy industry, and also highly agreed with the GEM’s recycling industry, especially the whole life cycle value chain system ( power battery recycling - material recycling - power battery pack recycling) of this industry. Mr. Song expressed his gratitude to GEM for its hospitality and expressed his willingness to carry out more levels of communication and cooperation. Mr. Song was willing to create good conditions for the joint development of GEM and ECOPRO and believed that the deep exchange and cooperation will definitely promote the green development of the world\'s new energy industry in the future.

After the visit, Hu Xiaoguo, the leader of Jingmen Government, and other government leaders of High-tech and Duodao District met with Mr. Song and his delegation, and held a China-Korea Economic and Trade Cooperation and Friendship City Exchange Conference.
