We were racing against time and donated more than RMB 6.5 million to the society in cash and emergency prevention and control materials.  Emergency production of disinfection solution and donated more than 200 tons of 84 disinfection solution to the society as "timely rain" for disinfection needs for more than 20 counties and cities in Hubei epidemic area. GEM became an important supplier of disinfectant in the Hubei epidemic area.  This greatly relieved the shortage of disinfectant solution in the Hubei epidemic area, and praised by government of the counties and cities of Hubei.

Volunteer commando team of joint defense and control was established, 300 volunteers participated in joint defense and control in Hubei and more than ten other provinces and cities.  The emergency service of “heartwarming and anti-epidemic” was started urgently, and a total of more than 32,000 meals were delivered, injecting a steady stream of heartwarming for the front liners on prevention and control.

With the support of governments at all levels in Hubei Province, we have opened the lifeline of transportation, and continuously delivered more than 3,000 tons of products and goods to international and domestic customers through river, sea, and railway freight This has secured the stability of the global supply chain and received a good international reputation.

In response to the epidemic, GEM launched the emergency response on January 26th, setting up the GEM epidemic prevention and control leading groups in its industrial parks to prevent and stop the epidemic.  On January 27th, the "Stop Epidemic Prevention Article 11" was issued, and on the January 29th, the notice of "Delay returning to work after the Spring Festival" was issued. On the 30th, the comprehensive disinfection work started across the GEM parks.  On February 1st, "16 sub measures and 9 main measures to win the epidemic prevention and control campaign" were released, and on February 10th, "the ‘war’ on epidemic must be won, the operation should be stable, innovation and breakthroughs should be made, and overcome the victories on both epidemic prevention and control and operation stability” directive was issued. The leadership team requesting the parks are absolute prevented and controlled, and the staff was guided to scientifically isolate, without giving the virus any opportunity to win the epidemic.

So far, GEM has donated 3.2 million yuan in cash and more than 3.3 million yuan worth of materials to the Hubei epidemic area. Including: 1,960 sanitation garbage bins (including 1,000 to Vulcan Mountain Hospital), and over 200 tons of disinfectant and more than 32,000 set meals, 28,000 medical masks, 600 goggles, 200 sets of protective clothing, 450 infrared temperature guns, 16900 pairs of medical gloves and 835 liters of medical alcohol.

Start the battle to stabilize the market and ensure the stability of the international supply chain

On February 13th, in order to stabilize the global supply chain, GEM Jingmen Industrial Park made an urgent request to the provincial government for "stabilizing the international market" through the Hubei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. With the help of governments at all levels, “Jingmen—Wuhan Port—Shanghai Port—Korea land and water intermodal artery”, “Jingmen—Changzhou Railway Freight Artery” and “Jingmen—Hunan Huanghua Airport—South Korea Air Transport Artery” were successfully opened.  Those channels have successfully helped GEM to delivered more than 3,000 tons of cargo to Korea customers and domestic strategic customers to ensuring the stability of the international supply chain.

In order to be sympathetic to employees, help the bailouts, and overcome the difficulties together, from March 5th, GEM quickly launched the caring activities for the staffs during the fight against the outbreak. A survey on living conditions of employees was conducted among more than 5,000 employees across 16 GEM industrial parks. According to the actual situation of the employees\' families, a total of 1,607 employees were assisted, and the total amount of assistance was about RMB 2 million.

From March 1st, GEM Jingmen Industrial Park called on all employees to be prepared for resumption of work, including daily registration of physical health conditions, get health certificates issued by local authorities, CT and nucleic acid testing, and health check-in online etc. Before March 10th, more than 2,000 employees completed preparations for return to work.

According to company\'s "Five 100%" control requirements: 100% control of all personnel and all sites, 100% closed, 100% protection, 100% disinfection, 100% implementation of government prevention and control regulations and company\'s 9 major control measures. Each park strives to be an advanced model of strict prevention and orderly return to work. On March 11, GEM Jingmen Industrial Park is on the first batch of key enterprises in Jingmen City, Hubei Province to resumed its working order.

As of March 14th, the output rate of GEM Jingmen exceeded 80%. GEM has successfully resumed work in it 15 industrial parks, with more than 4,000 people returning, and the overall production capacity return rate has reached over 90%.

2.Check every employees and point to point commute

All employees will be investigated in all aspects including their physical condition, quarantine time, path (life track) in the past 15 days, and the epidemic situation in the residential community. Employees who meet all the requirements will be issued a permit allowing return to work.

After receiving the notice of return, the company arranges the transportations for "point-to-point" transfer. The planning of the operation route is planned according to the number of employees, the location of pick-up and drop-off and the requirements of safety measures. Take a temperature test before gets on, employees are required to wear masks in a standardized manner, sitting with distances and separated seats when on the transport.

Before entering the company, employees should take a temperature test. Only when the temperature is normal, they can enter and work. The onsite prevention and control team issues work passes after training for returning employees based on the onsite discipline, prevention and control requirements, and return to work safety during the epidemic.  At the same time, after the employees have taken up their posts, in teams they must carry out epidemic prevention and safety training again, and the body temperature should be tested no less than four times a day.
