On December 9, Wu Yingbiao, Secretary of the Working Committee of Jingmen High-tech Zone and Secretary of the Party Committee of Dadao District, led a delegation of Jingmen City visited GEM’s Laterite nickel ore to produce power battery grade nickel chemical project (project company PT. QMB New Energy Martials, hereafter as QMB) in Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (hereafter as IMIP) Morowali Central Sulawesi Indonesia. Professor Xu Kaihua, chairman of GEM, and Wu Huadi, chairman of IMIP warmly received Secretary Wu Yingbiao and the delegation.
Secretary Wu Yingbiao and the delegations visited the public and auxiliary facilities of the IMIP, including the port and power plant, accompanied by GEM Chairman Professor Xu Kaihua IMIP Chairman Wu Huadi, and General Manager of QMB Tang Honghui. The delegation also visited QMB site and testing center.
At the exchange meeting, QMB General Manager Tang Honghui introduced the basic situation of the park and the construction progress of the project. Secretary Wu Yingbiao highly affirmed GEM\'s development model based on Jingmen, going to the world and achieving a first-class international enterprise, and also expressed that Jingmen High-tech Zone will further increase its efforts to support GEM\'s development in the future and promote GEM to become a successful benchmark enterprise of the development of Jingmen in the "Belt and Road".
