On April 22nd, 2020, Dai Beifang, Chairman of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Chinese People\'s Political Consultative Conference, visited GEM Shenzhen headquarters and conducted on-site investigations on GEM\'s business status and major issues that needed to be resolved. Cao Yaliang, deputy secretary general of Shenzhen Municipal CPPCC, Yu Jing, deputy director of Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission, Xiao Zhijia, inspector of Shenzhen Local Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau, Ming Anbin, deputy director of Shenzhen Taxation Bureau of State Administration of Taxation, and leaders of Baoan District Party Committee and government accompanied the investigation. Professor Xu Kaihua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of GEM, and Ms. Wang Min, the Board Director of GEM, warmly welcomed Chairman Dai Beifang and the delegations.

Chairman Dai Beifang and the delegations visited GEM intelligent information monitoring platform, and learned about the industry layout and advanced technology and equipment of GEM in the country through the real-time monitoring screen.

At the exchange meeting, Chairman Xu Kaihua thanked the Shenzhen Municipal Committee, the municipal government and the CPPCC for their long-term care and support to GEM. Chairman Xu Kaihua said that during the epidemic situation, the leaders of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, the municipal government and the CPPCC have worked tirelessly to solve the practical difficulties of enterprises. They are the most lovely people! Subsequently, Chairman Xu Kaihua also introduced GEM’s  strong response measures during the epidemic, the results during the epidemic, and donations at home and abroad. Then, Chairman Xu Kaihua introduced GEM\'s high-quality development process in recent years and its major achievements. Chairman Xu Kaihua said that GEM is a world circular economy leader enterprise that stepped out from Shenzhen Taohuayuan and growed in Shenzhen. At the meeting, Chairman Xu Kaihua also reported to Chairman Dai Beifang and the delegations the major issues that need to be resolved urgently in the rapid development of GEM.
