GEM have built 6 power battery recycling and utilization centers in China, covering key regions such as the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing -Tianjin - Hebei Regin, and Central China. GEM also established two joint ventures for power battery recycling and utilization in South Korea and Indonesia. With a planned annual dismantling capacity of 215,000 tones for power battery packs, an annual remanufacturing output of 4.1 GWh, and an annual processing capacity of 200,000 tones for the recycling and utilization of battery black mass, GEM has established strategic partnerships for the directional recycling of spent batteries with over 1,100 automotive and battery manufacturers worldwide. The company's annual processing volume of retired lithium-ion batteries accounts for 10% of China's total decommissioned power batteries. Through these efforts, GEM has built a full life-cycle value chain for new energy, encompassing "battery collection → remanufacturing of residual battery energy → raw material remanufacturing → material remanufacturing → battery reassembly." Six companies under GEM were selected as companies included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) Notice on Comprehensive Utilization Industry Standard Conditions for Waste New Energy Vehicle Power Storage Batteries, ranking first in the country.
