End-of-life vehicles primarily contain ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, precious metals (catalysts), electronic devices, glass, and automotive plastics. Among these, ferrous metals such as scrap steel account for over 70%, non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum make up about 6%, and other materials constitute approximately 20%. More than 90% of scrap steel and non-ferrous metals can be recycled, while the recycling rate for glass and plastics can reach over 50%.
