中国—印尼新能源材料与冶金工程技术联合研究实验室成立于2024年，由格林美联合中南大学、万隆理工学院共同建设，中印尼联合研究实验室首期投资3000万美元，由2个工程实验研究中心（湿法冶金工程技术研究中心、新能源材料工程技术研究中心）与12个研究室组成，形成“探索性研究-小型实验研究-半工业实验研究”的三级创新研发体系，配备300余套来自日本、美国和德国等国家的世界一流的研究实验设备与检测仪器，能有效完成各种矿产资源提取、新能源材料合成、资源循环利用、环境治理的全产业链关键技术研究，具备培养高水平硕士与博士研究生的条件与能力。
