GEM has industrialized the recovery and regeneration technology for nickel, cobalt, manganese, and aluminum from spent batteries, establishing a production base for lithium-ion battery cathode material precursors. The facility has an annual design capacity of 5,000 tons of NCM and NCA ternary power battery raw materials, along with 2,000 tons of battery-grade spherical cobalt oxide. By fully utilizing the nickel, cobalt, manganese, and aluminum recovered from waste batteries, GEM has achieved an industrial cycle in which waste batteries are reprocessed into battery materials.
