Jiangsu KLK Cobalt Nickel Metal Co., Ltd. ( hereinafter referred to as “KLK” ), was founded in 2003 with total registered capital of RMB 11,925,715. It’s a wholly-owned subsidiary of GEM Co., Ltd.
KLK is located in Taixing Economic Development Zone, which is a fine and specialty chemicals industry base in National Torch Plan in Jiangsu province. Close to the hinterland of Yangtze River Delta economic zone leaded by Shanghai, 10 km away from Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, 30 km away from Taizhou port which is a first-class open port in China, the company possesses notable economic superiority and transportation advantages.
KLK is a high-tech enterprise specializing in cobalt hydrometallurgy and R&D and manufacture of its cobalt-contained energy materials. The company mainly produces Co3O4, cobalt electrodeposition, ternary precursor, etc. The products are mainly used in lithium ion batteries, aerospace high-temperature alloys, cemented carbides, glazes and pigments, magnetic materials, rubber adhesives and petrochemical catalysts field, etc.
KLK is a well-known enterprise in battery materials and nonferrous metal fields. KLK brand KLK9995 Metal Cobalt is one of the world's first four cobalt futures contract producers on the London Metal Exchange (LME).
Jiangsu High-performance Lithium Battery Cathode Materials Engineering Technology Research Center and Jiangsu Academician Workstation are built in KLK. The company also set up a joint laboratory for new energy materials cooperating with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
